Iowa City, IA -- On Thursday March 25th at 10:00 am, in advance of President Obama's Iowa City visit, supporters of the newly enacted national health care reform legislation will rally with signs and chanting at the Iowa City Pedestrian Mall -- on the corner of College and Dubuque Streets.

Activists will then walk together to the University of Iowa Field House where doors for the President's speech are scheduled to open at 11:00 am, carrying signs. The group will follow a route from College St. to Clinton St. to Burlington St. and across the pedestrian bridge to Grand Ave.

This will be an excellent opportunity for strong visuals and local residents will be available to give comment.
